I picked up a bottle of Sebastiani 2005 Sonoma County Zinfandel from the liquor store today to put on the rack.
I won a donut
I just rrrolled up the rim and won a donut! I don’t really eat donuts but I think I will get a Boston Creme.
Painting
I finally finished painting our living room today. We did 2 coats last Saturday and Sunday after we moved in but since we were painting over quite a dark green colour there was a few spots that needed a bit more paint. I also put the first coat on the stairs leading down to the office and garage downstairs. The second coat goes on tomorrow then the main level is done.

Dirty Laundry
A friend of mine recommended that I try some of the white wine from Dirty Laundry Vineyard. They are a small wine producer from Summerland B.C.. Next time I am in the Liberty Wine Shop in my area I will pickup a bottle or two and give them a try.
My standby Zinfandel
When all else fails drink this! I like to always keep at least one of these around as my old Zinfandel standby. Best of all the BC Liquor stores just reduced the price by $2.00. A vibrant, sweet bouquet of raspberry jam, molasses and cinnamon toast evoke the senses of carefree youthful nights.
