Finally after waiting for almost 2 months our table we ordered is arriving today. We purchased a dining table from a furniture store that shall go unnamed because I will probably never order from there again because of the runaround in getting the table. But at least it is finally on the delivery truck.
The table we ordered is called the Chunk Dining Table from a company called Gus Modern out of Toronto.
Stuff White People Like is one of the funniest blogs I have read in a long time. It is a blog devoted to the stuff white people like. I could explain more but it is best to read it for yourself. Check out the full list.
Past neighbor and fellow blogger Neil has just updated the look of his site Hexstatik this past week. If you haven’t already, drop on by and have a look at the new design.
This week was the first week we were both back at work and had to commute downtown. It is actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It takes about 35 minutes door to door in the morning and about 1 hour to get home. It should be cut down a bit on the way home once the Cambie construction is finished and it will make picking up Jason easier.
I’m a geek for even thinking this is funny.
Note to self, “Measure twice, cut once”.
If anyone needs cedar kindling for their fireplace let me know. The planters look great BTW.
I spent the most part of today working on garden planters that I am building for our garden. Ever the gadget junkie my new miter saw, air compressor and brad nailer came in handy. I only got two of them built today but I have some wood cut and ready to be assembled tomorrow.
We have added a few pictures of the new place to our Flickr account most of them include the cat which is to be expected. Have a look and let us know what you think. We will post more in the coming days once we hang a few more pictures and artwork from our friend Alex. We also have a new mirror to hang in the entry off the kitchen but I can’t for the life of me find the stud finder I just bought.
If you are looking for a way to create a custom CSS signature in Mac OS X Mail check out All Forces for directions on how to do it. They even give you a template to download to get you on the right track.
After painting the 2nd bedroom I decided that the colour mostly resembles Crest Mint toothpaste. Although it is better than the mustard yellow that was there before but not fully what we expected. Oh well. At least it looks clean!
